The two First Division North sides have been ordered to play each other again to decide who will meet Buffaloes in the play-off. The game kicks off at 7pm. The duel became necessary after GNT beat Hotspurs 3-1 last weekend in a replay of the two sides' abandoned game.
The game ended prematurely with GNT leading 2-0. BFA awarded the game to GNT but Hotspurs appealed the decision and got a reprieve last week after they were initially blamed for the abandonment. The Appeal's Committee ruled that the game be replayed last weekend in Francistown and GNT ended up 3-1 victors.
After their weekend victory, GNT have now collected 39 points, three behind Hotspurs. A replay has become necessary because Hotspurs are ahead from soft points collected from boardroom decisions. First Division North league committee secretary, Moraole Sikwane said tonight's game will allow the play-off to proceed after a delay caused by boardroom wrangles.
FC Satmos have already booked their place in the Premier League courtesy of winning the First Division North while Mogoditshane Fighters made a return after lifting the First Division South title.
