Rapper, Ted Ozi F Teddy rocks the party

Performances to everyone's delight started early, but it was only because management had suggested that the venue should be closed by 11pm.

The first performance was however by Dream Team who delivered three tracks from their latest offering The Paint Shop.  Their performance, however, failed to move the crowd that was hungry for a performance that would warm them up on the blistering cold night.

Hitzmane was the second artist to perform and his performance got the crowd moving.  The women seemed to be the most amused by his performance as they screamed to the top of their voices throughout the lad's performance.  Hitzmane performed several tracks from his Welcome To The Trap Mixtape.  The peak of his performance was when he performed We Here Now featuring the birthday boy himself and Eureka the cover boy.

The performance pulled a large crowd and the small venue was fully packed during the performance.  After the collaboration, Ozi F Teddy took stage and performed tracks from his mixtape titled The Invasion Mixtape. The energetic rapper performed Let Me Go, Mr Bouncer, Always and Close To You Remix from the mixtape.  Motswako artist Kit-Kat from Mafikeng, South Africa performed after the birthday boy.  His performance was however overshadowed by previous performances as he too failed to move the crowd.

Kit-Kat's performance was undoubtedly good but his music did not appeal to the crowd that was dominated by ma-14.  Local artist Touch, was the next to perform and his performance transitioned well from the South African musician's performance. He performed tracks such as Been A Long Time Coming, that brought the crowd back to life. Touch who performed alone was fortunate enough to get a volunteer performer from the crowd who amused the crowd with her dance moves. Touch went with the flow and used the performer to his advantage but her friends pulled her off stage before Touch's performance was over.  Kilo was the last artist to perform.  After the end of the performances the lads had an after-party in Block 3.

Ozi F Teddy's producer, Neo 'Rimzy' Ramosamo said the party was being documented as part of Ozi's video documentations for Ozi F Teddy tv on YouTube.  He said the documentations are about Ozi's life, how he lives on a daily basis.

He said a DVD based on the documentations would be released soon for public consumption.  'Ozi is not a motswako artist, he is an English rapper whose music appeals to a broader market which is the other reason for all this,' he said.

Ramosamo said artists like Ozi should not end  up like other ordinary artistes because they have the potential to attain true stardom. The Invasion Mixtape features tracks where Ozi has collaborated with artists from countries such as Namibia and Nigeria.
