Mogogi visits ex-teammates at Santos

Mogogi raved about his former teammates, as he called them with their nicknames in his last shout-out. The defender-cum-midfielder posted on his Facebook page Friday afternoon, ' I paid my former team a visit this morning and it was nice.'

Mogogi sounded very excited to return and wish well the boys he captained while there. ' I am taking this opportunity to wish them well and thank them for everything, I am a better player because of them. I will miss all my boys Tshepo, Bongi, Eleadzor, Apples (Erwin Isaacs), Kapie(king), Navara, Sticks(Thabiso Ntloana), Wayne Arendse, Cardo (Ricardo Skippers), Chimodzi, Zairon, Basi and Botswana's own Drogba (Jayjay) ha ha,' Mogogi said in his last shout out, hours before facing Dirang Moloi and Da Gama. It was a successful trip for  Mogogi and Dipsy Selolwane as SuperSport United were 1-0 victors over Vasco da Gama in a tightly-contested match played at the Cape Town Stadium on Friday night.

However, the defender did not see action while Dipsy played the whole 90 minutes against Vasco da Gama side which also had Dirang Moloi featuring for the first 53 minutes. Supersport reports say United were by far the better side in the opening half, but had to fight a rearguard battle for lengthy second-half periods. The only goal of the game came early on, through Liberian international, Anthony Laffor.
