Meanwhile a convoy of trucks is expected to leave Gaborone for Pretoria today to deliver donations to flood victims in South Africa. Botswana High Commissioner, Motlhagodi Molomo confirmed that the government of Botswana has donated to victims of floods that recently hit South Africa leaving over 30 people dead and causing massive destruction of infrastructure and residences.

However, the public relations office at the Foreign Affairs Ministry declined to give information on the matter only confirming what the High Commissioner has said.

The director of public relations and information at Ministry of Foreign Affairs ation, Tshenolo Modise said she would only be ready to give information on the matter this morning. 'All I can do is confirm what the High Commissioner told you,' she said.
