Show promises a night of laughter

The line up of the much-anticipated Comedy Night will remain the same with only one missing comedian from the original list being Conrad Koch.  Performers scheduled to perform at the event are Magic Man, Mel Miller, Tips Seemise and Dignash.

The highlight of this show is world-class performer, Magic Man who is hailed as one of the most experienced and well-travelled magicians in Canada. He will be alongside Miller, who will be making his first ever comedy appearance in Botswana. In 2009, he broke new ground in comedy circles when his comedy production, The Big Fat Comedy Show, played in Numetro cinemas.

The 61-year-old Miller has a wealth of life experiences that make his stand up comedy such a delight, enabling him to draw laughing moments from a wide spectrum of life's experiences.

Local comedian, Tips with his endless Setswana jokes, as well as sarcasm, which can be both entertaining and embarrassing, will take the stage too.  While on stage, he has the freedom to draw jokes from just anything of inspiration including the looks of the closest person he sees.  During his end of the year show Tips made jokes about the late comers to the show, amongst others.  The types of cell phones he sees at the venue also seemed to inspire him to throw a joke or two.

The ever-rising Botswana comedian Michael 'Dignash' Morapedi is also expected to entertain on the night.  The local comedian has also joined his international counterparts by launching his own television shows.  After his debut television show on e-Botswana early this year, Dignash went on to launch another show on national television, Btv Dignash Live.

The event promises to be cheaper than other traditional end of year comedy shows.  On Facebook, 63 Entertainment, the organisers of the show stated that the tickets are on sale.
