Thandie Bakwena scoops Miss PASSOBO 2010

Though poorly attended the event really proved that disability is not inability.  At the end of it all Ramotswa CJSS's Thandie Bakwena emerged the Miss PASSOBO 2010 after beating nine other contestants.  The hearing impaired Bakwena, whose stage name was Hammer, was a marvel to watch just from the onset and it was clear that she would emerge victorious.

Whether it was a coincidence or a matter of design that Bakwena chose or was given an 'in-thing' car name she did not disappoint.  However, the difference between Bakwena and the car itself could be that she is beautiful while the car is only expensive but not attractive.

The similarity between the two could be that Bakwena, who sported short hair, did not go all the way to make herself glamorous.  Though hearing impaired it was surprising how her movements matched the beat of the stage song.  It must have been her smile and swings that must have stolen the judges' hearts.

The thing that made Bakwena different from the pack had to do with the way she moved on the stage.  The well-built beauty queen swings her body so suggestively just like in normal beauty pageants. Volvo was not to be outdone, as Bosa Khutshwane of Molefhi Senior Secondary, Mochudi, became the first princess.  The confidence that Khutswane displayed throughout the event might have done the magic for her.

Though not too superior from other contestants Bakwena's high level of commitment could not be compared to any.

However, the event would not have been complete without Nissan hardbody, affectionately known as, Renowned for its hard attitude, endurance and sexy looks, Rathari represented the machine so well.  The event that was organised by PASSOBO in partnership with Limkokwing was part of the former to raise funds for the organisation. PASSOBO is raising funds for the national games to be held in November.
