Meryl reels out of Big Brother house

Meryl was standing against her fiance, Mwisho, Botswana's Kaone, and Nigeria's Uti, and she is the one who ended up with the least votes to stay in the house.  The couple reassured each other of their love as Meryl headed outside the house where she continued to tell IK what a good man Mwisho is.  The Sunday eviction was perhaps the most eventful, as all the performances were by previous Big Brother Africa housemates, Ghana's Mimi and Kwaku performed together and surprisingly their music is really good.  The two are not the only former BBA contestants who were given the platform as Angola's Emma, also gave a sterling performance.  Emma was the runner-up to last year's winner - Nigeria's Kevin - who is currently engaged to Tanzania's Elizabeth.  The two also performed during the eviction show.  Mozambique's Leonel also made an appearance.

Perhaps, the biggest event of this season's M-Net reality series was Saturday when Mwisho decided that the house had presented him with his lifetime partner, in the form of Meryl.  A shaky Mwisho went on bended-knee and asked Meryl if she would marry him and she plainly said, 'I'd love to baby' and Mwisho slipped her 'tanzanite' ring on her ring finger.  In his speech, Mwisho had made it clear that he doesn't come from a romantic family.

'Whatever mistakes I make now, I hope I have a lifetime to do better things,' Mwisho assured all present as he laughed.  The two then shared their first kiss as an engaged couple.  Meryl's aunt, Jamela was curious whether this was serious or a joke and Meryl assured her that it was very serious and noone can judge them but love and God.  Meryl said she was aware that people might have their own thoughts about their decision to get engaged.'The only people we have to answer to is us.  We have decided that we want to spend the rest of our lives together,' Meryl said.

Meryl added that fate had it that they should be together on Big Brother All Stars because they had both seen and loved the other on TV.  Meryl's aunt helped her as she was talking saying, 'It was love at first sight.'

Meanwhile, the barn-mates continued their gossip about Meryl/Mwisho engagement.  When Meryl went upstairs with her bags, Lerato, Tatiana, Code and Paloma quickly gathered in the lounge to have a gossip session before Meryl came back and spoke again about the engagement.  Tatiana mentioned how Meryl was not telling them everything about the engagement while Lerato said Meryl had related an entirely different story about the engagement when they told her they did not see the actual engagement ceremony.  Two lucky barn-mates will re-enter the BBA All Stars house on Sunday, joining the remaining four for a chance to win the whooping USD 200 000.
