Mahalapye Sub-Land Board has staff shortage?

The fifth staff member voluntarily resigned. Information reaching Mmegi indicates that this has resulted in a skeletal staff operating, negatively affecting the running of the lands office.  One staff member complained; 'The workload that comes with the shifts is too much for us.

This is totally unacceptable as it appears to be a deliberate move by the management.

What pains me is that some of these employees (on leave) are making fun of it,' she alleged. Ngwato Land Board in the Central District has the responsibility of recruiting employees of the Mahalapye Sub-Land Board and until they furnish the latter with staff members nothing can be done to remedy the situation.

At the time of going to print, Mahalapye Sub-Land Board had not responded to enquiries on the matter. Efforts to solicit a comment were also fruitless as the top management was said to be on short leave.
