Botswana signs Air services deal with UAE

Omar Bin Ghalib, Deputy Director-General of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, signed the MoU on behalf of the UAE while Lieutenant Colonel Moakofi K. Modisenyane, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, signed on behalf of Botswana.

The objective of the agreement is to strengthen co-operation in aviation services between the UAE and Botswana, and to facilitate air services by the designated air carriers from the UAE - Emirates, Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, RAK Airways and flydubai - and the airlines of Botswana.

The two parties also agreed on the principles of governing operations based on the agreed services. - (Gulfnews)
