Ngakagae leaving the DPP

Prosecutors celebrate whenever they get convictions in the case they prosecute.

If Kgosietsile Ngakaagae celebrates the convictions of Joe Matome and Louis Garvas Nchindo, metaphorically speaking, this will be his last celebration. Ngakaagae is expected to leave the Directorate of Public Prosecutions at the end of the year to go into private practice.

When asked to confirm if this is indeed true Ngakaagae could only say that he has notified his employer that he will be resigning.

Ngakaagae said he did not want to discuss anything further. However sources within the DPP say Ngakaagae will be leaving the DPP at the end of the year.
