The return of Nata Capricorn

Nathaniel Mwamboma, the man behind the band approached Showbiz on Wednesday and revealed that they would be spoiling their fans nationwide by going to them wherever they are and leave them with unforgettable nights. 'It has been a long time without giving anything to my fans, I want to reconnect with my fans and bring them back to the mood of rhumba. The tour begins November 27 at Selibe Phikwe in BDF. On December 3rd and 4th Francistown will be treated to a rhumba night for two consecutive days at P50 ticket for two days,' Mwamboma said.

He also revealed that Nata Capricorn will be releasing a DVD next year by April, saying that it would be featuring all the hit songs that were ever released by Nata Capricon. The DVD would then be followed by a new album sometime next year according to him.

'I am now a mature man, my music is also mature. I am cooking an album that is also mature that I wish to release as a gift to spoil all my fans and say to them thank you for the support that you gave me,' Nathalien said.

He said that although his last album titled Bye Botswana was released back in 2006 as a farewell to Batswana who love him as much as he does, he is still the father of rhumba in Botswana. According to Nathaniel, his band of Bula Matlho fame is still the best selling band in rhumba locally.

'Bula Matlho was released in 1999 and even today, it still sells like it was released this year. The hit track in that album, Maya is the one that even today forces me to cut more and more CDs for Batswana, their affinity for it is overwhelming,' He said, urging fans to come to his shows so as to connect spirits once again. His promoter, Goitseone Oagile aka Gee of Gee Promotions, said that they have a big surprise for their fans. 'As you know, this man groomed rhumba in Botswana. Everywhere we go, we feature live performances, Batswana would also be treated to songs that they have never heard before as a bonus to the fans,'Oagile said.

According to him the band is back again and this time stronger than ever.
