New Juju Boy's facebook page attracts 5000 fans

 

The feedback on facebook might be an indication that the singer's new brand of music, inspired by western pop music, is being appreciated by his fans.  However, Juju Boy's new music does not yet look like it has taken the city by storm with  Ekentolo's Re Sia Le Matebele, everyday looking like it will be the undisputed  song for this festive season.

Juju Boy's earlier facebook page had attracted 1 917 clicks, as the man who popularised gothic looks took the urban music followers by storm with his extraordinary lyrics and stage performances, which saw him becoming and instant trend-setter as number of his followers were also seen adopting Juju Boy's now fashionable hairstyle.

His latest  album was launched on October 30 at Rasesa Lodge, where South African Tswana rappers, Tuks Senganga and Khulichana also featured in the line-up were local hot sellers, Vee, and Slizer, among others.

Followers of Juju Boy's music will find that the new music in White Music, is essentially influenced by international pop stars such as the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, amongst others, hence the album title, White Music.

In the new album, Juju Boy says he was free to explore his creativity and diversity.  'I want people to know me as an artist.  To me that means I'm not scared to try new things.  I want it to be known that I am brave enough to keep reinventing myself with every new project and I'm confident that my fans will enjoy and identify with my new work,' Juju Boy said.

Juju Boy's debut hit was also immortalised by its crazy video on YouTube, which received more than 17 000 hits. 

According to Juju Boy, the song Hurt Me is currently the number one most downloaded ringtone on the Mascom Catalogue.

The singer has not posted any videos for his new album on  YouTube yet, although it looked like the video-strategy worked well for him the last time, after his Hurt Me video was viewed 17 000 times by his legion of fans.
