Mr Kaboeamodimo, Batswana are not dumb

Rre Mogomotsi, I have been watching events unfold right in front of my beautiful 42' plasma screen.  I promise you when I bought that screen, I was sure that my beloved Btv will make me not regret having spent so much money on a mere TV ka ebile ke dirisa Phillibao but the latest spectacles happening in your empire makes me eat a humble pie.

If it were up to me Mr Mogomotsi your TV channel wouldn't even make it to my living room but being technologically disadvantaged ketla reng.

Just like many people who are appalled by the happenings in the mass media complex, I wonder if you are aware that the running of that station comes from our pockets.

I read the other day in one of the private newspaper, you said something to the tune of 'private media wants to dictate how you should run that station,' you were responding to a concern raised about selective airing of programmes   mme o lebala gore kana le bone ke Batswana, ene TV station eo ke ya morafe. Don't you think you were being a little if not overly melodramatic?

Kana in other government departments, when something is not right, sechaba complains and that include le bo mmegi people?  It really pains me, as a patriot of this country how little you regard Batswana.

The one thing I want to bring to your attention is that we are not as stupid as you want to believe. Haele dikgang tsone I wonder how the news readers manage to stand in front of thousands of people and say they are reading news when there is none.

On second thoughts, maybe we are being too hard on you for no absolute reason, gongwe o tlhoka thuso, but we cannot help you if you are not willing to help yourself, at least that's what I believe in.

My plea to you sir is, give us credit as a people. We are not dumb.
