Meet your stars of the season

Kabelo Dambe (Township Rollers)There are no better words to describe this youngster. If there is one man Township Rollers have to thank, it is Dambe. He has pulled off some wonderful saves this season, which earned Mapalastina massive points. The sky should be the limit for him if he remains level-headed.

Tshepiso Kgosiemang (Centre Chiefs)He has surprised many people with some brilliant performances as a right-back for Magosi. Kgosiemang has made people who doubted his capabilities eat humble pie.

Edwin Olerile (Township Rollers)There is no player who is better than Olerile at left-back in the country at the moment. His ability to defend and attack has seen Rollers being unstoppable on the left wing. He has capped the brilliant season with some stunning goals. Remember the one against Mochudi Centre Chiefs in January? Oh, there was another special 'Olerile strike' against Gaborone United (GU) recently.

Emmanuel Nlu (Extension Gunners)This boy is underrated but that has not stopped him from performing. He brought shape to Mapantsula defence and in the games where he was not able to play, Gunners were totally exposed. He is one of the few defenders who managed to find the back of the net as well.

Itai Gwandu (Township Rollers)When he crossed the floor from Gaborone United to Rollers at the start of the season, many commentators thought he would struggle to fit in the starting line-up. But he has paid the trust coach Rahman Gumbo has in him with some fine performances. His combination with Oscar Ncenga at the heart of defence has been awesome.

Lawrence Majawa (Township Rollers)He is an unsung hero in the league champions' side. The Malawian workaholic gets the nod ahead of the likes of Elijah Montsho and Aubrey Sithole in the holding role. He has been fantastic this season after a slow start in Rollers' colours. Last season, many wondered why Rollers signed him but now everybody has every reason to cheer.

Edwin Moalosi (Township Rollers)He might not be the league's top scorer but he contributed immensely in the many goals Rollers scored. The diminutive Moalosi has tormented big opposition defenders with his silky skills.

Dirang Moloi (Mochudi Centre Chiefs)By his standards he could have done better. But he deserves a place in the league's finest line-up for his performances in key games this season. He has scored important goals and even his work-rate has improved. Chiefs looked disjointed whenever he was not in the side.

Terrence Mandaza (Township Rollers)What a player he is. Mandaza had been a menace to defenders after a disappointing spell last season. He has come to the party in a season where his partnership with Moalosi was unbelievable. With reports that he is heading to CAPS United in Zimbabwe, Mandaza has surely left a lasting impression on Botswana football.

Farasai Nyamunamwendo (Flamengo Santos)He has predatory skills, which most strikers do not possess. Just like Mandaza, the Zimbabwean hotshot has taken Botswana football by storm. He is a role model to most youngsters with his on and off the field behaviour.

Sekhana Koko (Centre Chiefs)There is no doubt that he has been outstanding this season. Chiefs have benefited a lot from his contribution. He capped a brilliant season with a call-up to the national team. A humble player who many players can learn much from him.

Coach: Rahman Gumbo With the kind of players in this team, surely Gumbo can torment any side in the league. He is one of the coolest coaches in the league who has respect for all the stakeholders.
