Kutlwano, BDF 6 renew rivalry

The two teams went on to represent Botswana at the Zone VI club championships where Kutlwano got their revenge. A highly charged game is always expected whenever the two teams clash. The two teams have maintained an unbeaten record in the league and it would be interesting to see who keeps that record after the weekend encounter.

BDF VI coach, Selebatso Mabutho is not expecting an easy game. He, however, said with revenge uppermost in their minds, they have an edge over Kutlwano. He said Kutlwano will approach the game with a view of winning.

Mabutho said they have forgotten about their loss to Kutlwano and will treat their weekend meeting as a new ball game.

He said his side has been hard at training and they do not want to disappoint their supporters.

Kutlwano captain, Shadrack Kapeko said the two teams are on par and a tough game is always a certainty. He said the game is unpredictable and the better team on the day would win. Kapeko said that their they beating of BDF in their last meeting will count for nothing, as this is a different game altogether. 'We are prepared and we will not take the game lightly just because we beat them last time. We know that they are going to come seeking revenge,' Kapeko said.

In other men's fixtures still at Lobatse, Spiking will face Prisons in the first game. Before taking on Kutlwano, BDF VI will play Victory Seekers while Kalavango will gauge their strength against Prisons.

In the last fixture of the day, Victory Seekers will entertain Prisons. There will be two men's games in Mahalapye where Diphatsa play Tanian and Difofane respectively. In Jwaneng, Itekeng will have two games against Desert Kings and Police.

There will only be two women's games on Sunday in Gaborone where Prisons will have two games against Spiking Stars and Kalavango.
