Educationist migrates to NACA

The principal public relations officer in the ministry, Nomsah Zuze, confirmed this yesterday. 'Yes, I have been transferred,' Setume said, refusing to comment further.

He leaves at a time when the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crimes is investigating his previous employer,  where about 23 officers were indicted bringing the operations of processing scholarships for new students to a halt.

After the DCEC investigations, Education Minister, Pelonomi Venson Moitoi, told Parliament that there had been incidences of corruption and mal-administration.

His transfer follows the sudden early retirement of deputy permanent secretary, Opelo Makhandlela, and the redeployment of similarly ranked, Molake Molake, to the Office of the President early this week.
