Nature Care expands to northern Botswana

The Branch Manager for Francistown, Tumo Moremong, said that Nature Care was trying to show that life was all about choices.  'If you can control the act of choosing then you can control life itself,' he said.  Moremong said that choices that one makes every day could have an impact on their health. Empowering individuals with information on wellness helps to guide those choices.

Moremong said that Nature Care has three branches, one at the Gaborone Train Station, another on Gaborone South Ring Road and this new one in Francistown, plus a warehouse in Mmopane.  He said Nature Care has 29 employees. Giving welcome remarks at the colourful event in black, orange and green colours Moremong said that Nature Care is going through exciting times.  Giving the keynote address, Sebetela Tati Nickel Mining Company (TNMC) general manager, Sebetlela said that wellness is a broad concept encompassing the physical, mental, spiritual, financial and social aspects of an individual's life.

Sebetlela said that many companies today rate wellness highly in their employee empowerment initiatives.  Many invest in recreation facilities and sponsor sporting activities to promote health. Many also create opportunities for community support activities by their employees to encourage a spirit of generosity and care for others in need,' he said.  He said that Nature Care could not have come at a better time in Francistown as residents in this city, like any other urban place, are faced with challenges around wellness. Nature Care Wellness Centre managing director Sally Pillar said the organisation gives advice on diet. It also does physiotherapy, different kinds of massages, body detox and corporate wellness programs for companies, including herbal remedies. At the end of the opening there was a raffle.
