BOCCIM hosts supervisors forum

 

According to  a press release  the Forum will be held on 25 and 26 March at the Gaborone International Convention Centre.

The theme for this year's forum is 'Building Outstanding Teams for Delivery'. BOCCIM represents the interest of the private sector and is recognized by government as the main voice of the private sector.

BOCCIM says that this theme was established after a thorough audit of performance in the workplace. The forum focuses on how to build teams that deliver and successfully achieve strategic goals which will enable you to better serve customers during this tough economic climate.

'This forum will give supervisors, executive secretaries and middle managers the opportunity to be innovative and creative for their survival during this global economic crisis climate.

'It  also gives an opportunity to participants from the private and public sectors to exchange experiences and information needed to develop team work and effective work teams in their organisations.

'Our highly experienced and recognised team of facilitators will interface with delegates over the two day period where they will share their knowledge, techniques and approaches for creating outstanding team,' read the statement.  The guest speaker will be the CEO of the First National Bank of Botswana, Ms Lorato Boakgomo-Ntakhwana. Her career in banking started 17 years ago in Botswana before moving to South Africa to join the South African Reserve Bank as the Deputy Group Treasurer, Head of International Bank Relations and Head of Africa Operations.

The presenter line-up includes 6 industry experts namely Chedzah Marobela, Tekolo Modungwa, Wilhemia Makwainja, Fiona Dereige, Joyce Maphorisa and Leah Gwangwa.
