G-Sun hosts SA comedian, Stuart Taylor

Funny man, Stuart Taylor, will be making comedy lovers laugh-out-loud this Saturday at the Gaborone Sun Hotel and Casino, where he is billed to entertain dinners. Tickets go for P150, and the event starts at 7pm.

The blockbuster comedian also boasts of appearances on SABC shows such as Evita Live and dangerous, Barry Hilton's Funny You Should Say That, Top Billing, the Phat Joe show, Heita, SABC 3's comedy showcase and  Laugh Out Loud.

The comedian is not just popular for his television appearances, but has also been a national comedy magic champion for three years.  The man, who says he started doing comedy so 'people laugh at my jokes and be mystified by my magic..', has been in the game  of stand up comedy since 1999.

Since then Taylor has performed at many and varied venues on the Cape Town and Johannesburg comedy circuit. His CV shows that he has been to such famous South African entertainment spots as Blouberg to Boxberg, Sandton's Blues Room, and the Grand West Casino.

Taylor's solo career got off to a flying start at Artscape as part of the Cape Town Festival in 2002. He then went on to do a sold out three-week run of his next one man show, joker in the pack, where he performed to critical acclaim.

The show was so popular it had to be re-run at the Grand West Casino's Roxy revenue bar for another three weeks. His other amazing performance, dating for dummies, was also sold out for five weeks in 2004. It was repeated again at the Grahams Town festival the same year.
