Miscellaneous face test character

They first take on Satmos tomorrow before entertaining Ferry Wanderers on Sunday. With only one point separating them from their nearest rivals, TASC, Miscellaneous cannot afford a loss to Satmos or Ferry Wanderers of Kasane. Miscellaneous secretary general, Freedom Molosiwa said they have nothing to worry about as they have never lost against Satmos.

'We visited them in Selebi-Phikwe in the first round and came away with victory. There is nothing that will make them beat us this time round,' said Molosiwa.

He said even Ferry Wanderers will not be a threat though they lost to the team in Kasane in the first round. 'The refereeing was pathetic in that game. The referees openly sided with Wanderers, which led to our loss. But this time, we are going to sail through. We have gone seven games without a loss and I do not see us losing to the two teams,' he said.

But Satmos' chairman, Lekoko 'Lecoh' Molefi said they will use the game against Miscellaneous to climb up the ladder. The former Premier League side is lying sixth on the log with 26 points from eight wins and two draws. BR Highlanders is breathing heavily down their neck with 25 points from seven wins and four draws. Satmos would like to leap over Mahalapye Hotspurs who are a point ahead of them. 'Though my record against Miscellaneous is not so impressive, this time we are going for the kill in Serowe. We are going to stop them in their tracks.

They beat us at home (in the first round) and we are going to beat them in their home,' said Molefi. He said they have given up on automatic promotion to the Premier League, but they still harbour hopes of going for the play-offs and beating Miscellaneous tomorrow would be crucial.

He said their emphatic 4-2 win against Maun Terrors last weekend is a sign of their revival.

Other weekend fixtures are: Palapye United vs Ferry Wanderers in Palapye, Hotspurs vs Great North Tigers in Mahalapye and Orapa Bucs vs Sua Flamingoes at DH Moore Stadium in Orapa.
