Bright might stay longer at GU

Bright has signed a short-term contract with the Reds until the end of the season after the sacking of Manfred Chabinga this week.

The former national coach told journalists before he left with GU for a CAF Champions League tie in Mauritius yesterday that although he is hopeful of getting a coaching job in South Africa, he cannot rule out the possibility of handling a local side.

His first assignment as a GU coach will be on Saturday against Curepipe Starlight of Mauritius in the first round of the CAF Champions League.

Bright said he will apply a 65 percent defence and 35 percent attack in the game. He is expected to have a fully-fledged squad for the tie. Ofentse Nato is said to be carrying a knock although he is expected to have fully recovered by Saturday.
