In a media statement released yesterday, BFA president, David Fani said the human resource company will develop a shortlist of qualified applicants and carry out comprehensive interviews of short-listed candidates.
He said the company was roped in to ensure a professionally informed approach to identifying a suitable candidate.
'Following this process, the consultants will recommend candidates to undergo qualitative reviews (in which the consultants will participate), after which, if a suitable candidate is found, the BFA will make an appointment,' Fani said.
The BFA advertised the post of the CEO after the sacking of Tosh Kgotlele following allegations of match-fixing last September.
Fani said the BFA had received 20 applications at the close of applications on June 18.
