Chiefs sign Sithole

Although Chiefs' chairman, Ernest Molome, could not confirm the move, impeccable sources revealed that the BMC coach is heading to the Kgatleng giants.

Sithole will take charge of Chiefs in the coming season as he attempts to win the title with the club that introduced him to Botswana football.

Molome was cagey with details when contacted for comment.

'Like any good coach, Sithole can always be one of the coaches to consider as long as his club is willing to release him,' Molome said.

Sithole is currently in charge of BMC. When he arrived at the club, BMC were languishing at the bottom of the log but managed to transform the side in a short space of time to avoid the relegation.

Sithole has coached Chiefs before and is credited with turning Chiefs into a formidable force although he left the side in the middle of season to join Gaborone United.

Meanwhile, Molome said the club reached an agreement to release Mondo, explaining that the decision was not entirely based on his performance. He said Mondo did well in his first season where the team finished runners up in the league and the Coca-Cola cup.
