Ndlovu linked with a move back to Zimbabwe

Press reports in Zimbabwe link the former Township Rollers and Nico United coach with a move to Premier League returnees, Black Mambas.

Mambas' chairman, Timothy Mudzimurema is quoted in the Bulawayo daily, Chronicle saying Ndlovu was in Harare assisting in the technical team while the two parties were negotiating.

'I would love to have him on my side. He is here assisting the technical team but we are yet to sit down with the executive and decide.

'He is here and we are still negotiating and if the deal comes, then it will be made public,' Mudzimurema said.Ndlovu's future at Motlakase has been a constant subject of speculation, although the club has maintained that the coach will stay on.

Motlakase chairman Mangisi Segadimo told Mmegi Sport that Ndlovu was still their coach.

'Since he left for Zimbabwe (for the off season break), I can't confirm what he is doing there,' Segadimo said.He said he had not read Zimbabwe press reports linking their coach to a club in that country. Segadimo said Ndlovu was supposed to have returned from Zimbabwe last week. However, he remained optimistic that the coach, who still has a season to run on his contract, will return.  After arriving at the club from Zimbabwe's Highlanders, Ndlovu turned around the fortunes of Motlakase and they found themselves mid-table. However, a poor showing towards the end of the season saw the Premier League debutants escape relegation by a whisker.

Meanwhile, Segadimo could not confirm when their stadium will be completed. The Motlakase stadium was expected to be completed in February, but delays have further pushed the completion date.

Segadimo said he was unsure if the facility would be finished before the new season. Motlakase was forced to play its home games away from Palapye because of the unavailability of a Premier League standard venue.
