Calvin Batsile is late

 

According to a statement from the opposition Botswana National Front's spokesperson Moeti Mohwasa Batsile joined the party in 2000 and won the Kanye North constituency in the 2004 General Elections. He served his full term as Member of Parliament from 2004 to 2009.

'He did his primary education at Segopotso Primary School. From there he went to Seepapitso Secondary School. On completion of his secondary education he went to South Africa where he did a two year Management Studies Course,' read the statement.

 Batsile served the nation in different capacities, amongst them as a councillor, a member of the Ngwaketse Land Board and a Board Member at Ramatea.  He is survived by a wife, three sons and a daughter.

 Funeral arrangements had not been finalised by the time of going to print last evening.
