TASC to reinforce squad on Premier League return

TASC finished second in the First Division and qualified for the Premier League via the promotion/relegation play-offs staged on a round robin basis in Molepolole and Selebi-Phikwe.

Few gave the Tango Boys a chance against Killer Giants who had survived automatic relegation from the Premier League and First Division runners-up, Letlapeng.

But the former Premier League side remained unbeaten in the play-off to secure a berth in the top league. After the first round of the play-offs ended in a deadlock in Molepolole with all matches drawn, TASC won their two games in Selebi-Phikwe to book their place among the country's top 16 clubs.

Ntshebe paid tribute to coach Seth Moleofi for guiding the club back to the Premier League.

'We made it through the dedication of our coach and players after two seasons struggling in the First Division.

I cannot say we are okay with the squad we have. We still have to look for more players as we are going to play in the Premier League,' he said.

Lerato Mosweu and Onneeleng Letsweletse came in for special praise after a sterling season.

'These two star players led us to victory. We are happy for them and the whole team as they showed fighting spirit.

We will soon reward our players during a ceremony sometime next week,' he said.
