Shrek Forever After movie review

The premise of the movie starts off with Shrek at his home with his wife and children, then he goes for a walk and starts to day-dream about the good old days when he was a feared Ogre. Sad, right Shrek's in a funk because he is bored and wants some adventure, but wait his wish just might come true in a place where he least expects it.

Well, it happens in a weird way he sees a little man in trouble on the road and helps him out and for assisting the person out of trouble he is given the wish of a life time, the chance to become a real ogre again all he needs to do is give Rumpelstilskin an uneventful day, of his life time, yep a day for a day.  So, of course Shrek agrees and he is sent to a world where people are afraid of Ogres again, and Shrek loves it and literally goes ape on a village. However, little does Shrek know that the world where he has been sent to is ruled by Rumpelstilskin and Ogres are hunted to extinction. Cool right, the movie is a great watch because of its awesome plot, great animation and lots of adult jokes. Adult jokes! What! No I meant jokes a mature parent would understand and laugh at too as well as good wholesome humour a child can understand.

There were some particular parts of the movie, which were cool like when the Pied Piper comes into the picture and he plays songs, modern songs to lure rats and witches all dancing to his tune.

The movie has an impressive lists of actor's vocalisations such as Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, Cameron Diaz as Fiona, Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots and lastly Walt Dohrn as Rumpelstilskin. Ah, well the verdict has to be given on the stunning movie on a scale of 10 the movie deserves an 8 out of 10 for its awesome plot and great gags.
