'Top In The World' Award For Al-Nur Student

The Principal of Al Nur School,  A.M Khan said that Sekgabo's award is a record in history, and recognises the high level of commitment of both learners and staff at Al Nur School.

'It is an incredible honour to receive this World Award and it is hoped that Sekgabo's achievement will be an inspiration to other learners. We at Al Nur School are proud to have been instrumental in making this achievement a reality,' Khan said.

He further states that the achievement bears testimony of Al Nur 's capability to compete excellently at a global level and produce students of a high calibre like Sekgabo.

Sekgabo, currently pursuing her A-Levels at Al Nur School, is no stranger to success. Besides being a top athlete, she was the 2009 Girls Head prefect and the recipient of the coveted Al Nur DUX award 2009. Sekgabo believes that determination and purposefulness have always driven her to realise these great goals. The 'Top In The World Achiever Award' is bestowed on illustrious, deserving students who produce the best result in any particular subject for that examination session worldwide. Learners in over 150 countries around the world enter Cambridge examinations each year.
