Love triangle results in suicide attempt

Sources revealed that the woman, who is in her mid-twenties hung herself with a rope after her husband confessed to having impregnated his mistress.

'The two, who are both Zimbabwean nationals had an argument in the morning after the man confessed to having impregnated a Motswana woman he was seeing on the side. He had gone to implore his neighbours to intervene in their quarrel. While he was with the neighbours, another neighbour who had gone to check on them found the woman hanging at the end of the rope and broke into the house to bring her down. She is now at the hospital's Intensive Care Unit,' revealed one of the sources.

Broadhurst police deputy station commander, Howard Modo has confirmed the incident. However the police chief would not be drawn into confirming or denying that the two fought over cheating.

'What I can tell you is that they had an argument over love-related issues,' he said. He refused to reveal the names of the couple saying investigations are still ongoing.
