The game between defending champions, Gaborone United (GU) and current contenders for the throne, Township Rollers was a good advert for Botswana soccer. A good crowd turned up for the match while both teams dished good soccer. Two moves in the game stood out. In the 27th minute, Joel Mogorosi of Rollers took off on the right and delivered a perfect cross, which found the head of Thapelo Balepi. Although the header flew inches wide, it was an exciting build-up which had fans clapping in appreciation. GU had their moment in the 72nd minute when Steven Maposa's header from Sageby Sandaka's cross from the left was destined for the top corner until a classy intervention from goalkeeper Kabelo Dambe.

Finest athletes
Someone had to raise his hand in the big derby between Rollers and GU. Bosarutweng 'Booster' Magola put up an excellent display in the heart of the GU defence. Terrence Mandaza showed why he is highly rated with a brilliant display. His move in the 39th minute, in which he easily eliminated some GU players, resulted in the equaliser.

Week's disappointment
Reports from Otse are that a groundsman slept on his job and forgot to close the sprinkler that waters the pitch. As a result, the game between BDF XI and TAFIC was called off due to a WATERLOGGED pitch.

Talking point
The awful or dreadful goalkeeping at the Africa Cup of Nations. Southern Africa's representatives have been the worst with the Mozambican goalkeeper almost injuring himself as he tried an acrobatic move. Zambia's Kennedy Mweene brought Cameroonians back into the game with a horrendous mistake.

Six, the number of goals ECCO City Greens scored against Premier League debutantes Killer Giants. This was ECCO's biggest win since they arrived in the Premier League four seasons ago.

Quotable quote
'We are desolate. We thought we could hold on and we were getting there until that mistake by the goalkeeper that gave the opposition the belief that they could come back into the game,' Zambia's coach Herve Rennard
