Who said we fear Saleshando?

We are rather at a loss but not surprised why the newspapers want to drag us into the BCP internal affairs by raising a red flag and blindly trying to entice us to a barn fight with the purported leading candidate, who it is said puts fear into BDP.

For the record this fear syndrome was much alive in the past elections and the BDP for the umpteenth time romped home with a clear victory. Some of the causalities are still licking their wounds and would not like to come back in 2014 let alone challenge for the BCP Presidential position.

We are a party with a purpose and vision and the capacity to adapt or change with the ever changing, world of politics. We align the party interests with that of Batswana.

Many would wish to see us as old and unfashionable, we are not, we have the brightest young men and women in the party to meet the challenges of today and indeed tomorrow.

We have a principled course to follow and we shall not be distracted by what the newspapers carry. We are very comfortable with our leadership and do not spend sleepless nights on who is likely or will lead the BCP or any party for that matter.
