Rollers-Notwane feud over player again?

Notwane have registered Paeye with the Premier League Committee (PLC) although Rollers have reportedly claimed he is theirs. However, Rollers' spokesperson, Monamodi Kgopana could only confirm that his club has shown interest in the promising player who has been named in the Zebras' team preparing for the African Championship (CHAN) match against South Africa next month. He said the club is still investigating the issue though he did not elaborate.

Meanwhile, Miscellaneous' chairman, Steady Sethaba has said the player has been sold to Notwane.

'We do not know anything about Rollers. We reached an agreement with Notwane who paid us the amount we wanted and we released the player,' he said. He revealed that Rollers expressed interest in the player when the current season started but failed to pay up.

'This time they did not even write a letter and only phoned me when they heard that the player has joined Notwane. They asked me why we gave the player to Notwane and I explained that they (Rollers) failed to pay the amount needed for the player at the time they showed interest,' he added.

Notwane spokesperson, Andrew Mokgatlane said Paeye is their player after they recruited him from Miscellaneous. 'I can confirm that we had shown interest in the player and after negotiations, we managed to sign the player,' he said.

Notwane and Rollers have scuffled over playersin the past most notably over defender, Thebeetsile Raditsebe and Dirang Moloi.
