'Three days of impartation' crusade lives up to its billing

In fact, if the truth be told, many said they had not witnessed anything like it before.   The organisers of the crusade had declared that those who would come would witness miracles and healing and indeed many attendee witnessed miracles and deliverance from demonic attacks.

Much of the ministering was done by the two visiting bishops - Dunstan Maboya from Tanzania and Billy Mfula from Zambia - while Apostle Francis Sakufiwa took charge of the shepherding work.

Bishop Mfula by size is a very small man, but when he gets on the podium he is like a man possessed - indeed he was possessed by the Holy Spirit.  When he preaches his voice roars like dynamite, sending everyone into intense prayer and the singing that often reaches the crescendo as the Word pieces the heart like a double-edged sword.  His teachings are about restoration and unity with God; and salvation.  Bishop Mfula urged Christians to follow the example set by the Master and be humble in order to receive God's abundant blessings.  He was in his element when he narrated the story of Jonah who disobeyed God 's instructions by going to a different city.  Jonah boarded a ship, but on its way the vessel ran into a violent storm and got ship wrecked.  Jonah, who had been sleeping, was later thrown into the sea by the skipper and his crew after, which he was swallowed by a fish for three days.  On the third day the fish vomited him on dry land.

'For three days Jonah lived on a ship stomach. It is dark in there, but he survived.  Right now some of you are going through difficulties, but I pray that whatever fish is swallowing you now it should vomit you on shore.  I have come to tell you that whatever fish is swallowing now, it will vomit you.'

Bishop Mfula 's teachings are based on strong scriptures but he is strong on motivation. When he is on stage he is like a rock star.

Bishop Maboya is a complimentary side of the same coin to Bishop Mfula.  While Maboya is also big on affinity to God, many more will remember him for the miracles and the healings he performed.

Many came with different ailments and infirmities.  Those with failing kidneys, painful caesarian scars, chest pains, hearing problems, poor sight, tumors, gall stones, gall bladder problems and with just a prayer and laying of the hands they were healed.  To most who still operate within the area of meta-physics there was need for proof.

Testimonies - Everyone who came complaining of pain, painful scars, hearing problems.  They all testified that their pain, scars, growth had vanished.

The last act was the icing on the cake.  How does one even describe this act of miracle.

'Heaven is real, Hell is real' Bishop Maboya thundered to a group that had come forward volunteering to experience the two worlds.  There was expectation and some measure of fear in the curious crowd that had by now moved to the stage to witness this miracle.

Just by placing his hand on each of the two sets of people on the forehead they slumped into deed sleep almost immediately.  As they were sleeping the group that was transported to hell screamed and choked in their sleep. The crowd was having a ball watching them snore, groan, roll over and choke as if they were having a nightmare.

Comparatively, the group that the Bishop said he wanted to transport to heaven seemed to be sleeping peacefully.  After about 15 minutes of sleep he prayed and woke them up.

Time for testimonies: Those who were transported said they met people who were dressed in all white and they talk of nothing but bliss.  Those who experienced hell could not even compose themselves to give their testimonies; they cried, jerked and appeared ruffled.  Those who could mumble a word talked of how scary and hot hell is.  In their accounts many said they saw fire and they were thirsty. It was surreal.

'Hell is real.  Heaven is real,' thundered Bishop Maboya as he retreated around 3.30am on Monday, but the hall was still teeming with worshippers many of whom would be going on for three hours.  They wanted to experience a miracle and sleeping was not a priority.  Apostle Sakufiwa comes in to rouse some who were still in their transportation, it is around 5 am as many file out of the New Season Church and they sing Hallelujah even after three days of intensive fellowship.
