Festive shows 2010

It is jazzy, it is kwaito, it is house, it is kwasa-kwasa, it is afro pop, it is traditional and it is funky Hip-hop.  That is the colour and taste for the Mascom Boosta bash at the Lion's Park on December 31.

There is absolutely something for everyone at the New Year Eve's Mascom Boosta bash.  Manyora will be represented by kwaito heavyweights Mandoza, of Nkalakatha fame.

Yes, if you want to relive those years when kwaito was ruling the planet, embodied by this man, then the Lion's Park show is the ideal.

But then for those who go for the jazzy atmosphere provided by Ntsa E Jele Ntsanyana and Punah's music, the organisers have Banjo Mosele, Punah, and Nono Siele for exactly that.

Hip-hop heads will be represented by the hot boy Eureka, Orackle, and HHP aka Hip-hop Pantsula, while Theo, probably the hottest afro pop singer in Mzanzi at the moment, will give lovers of afro-pop music his best, as well as dishing out music from his early days with Mafikizolo.

Alfredo Mos will be there for the kwasa-kwasa crazy fans, while Matsetse, who recently signed a distribution deal with EMI, will give lovers of traditional music something to remember.

DJs will also be there to spin discs as they kick 2010 away and welcome the New Year, 2011.
