Nigerian BBAR housemate and partner coming

Chuwang is expected to arrive today with his fiance BBR housemate, Elizabeth Gupta.

Speaking to Showbiz, Ramontshonyana said both Gupta and Chuwang would be at the event not only to support him, but also to perform singles from their upcoming album.  He said the duo is currently making headlines and it would be a great opportunity to have them in Botswana.  Ramontshonyana expects the event on Saturday to be one of the biggest Botswana has ever hosted.  The Dinaledi tsa Ga-Ngwaketse is a group that recognises all icons and influential people, from musicians to ministers who come from the Southern District.  He said the event is meant to get all, if not most of these people, under one roof so they can interact and get to know one another.

'It is essential to engage policy-makers in such events because then it is easy to communicate to them issues affecting the youth in Botswana, he said.  He said policy-makers from the region would be engaged as facilitators and supporters of the event.  The event that is in the form of a fun day would be held at the new youth recreation park next to the Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board (BAMB) office in Kanye.   The event starts at 10.30 am and everyone is invited.  It would be followed by an afterparty open to adults only. Ramontshonyana said the event would also be used as his home coming welcome for those that have not seen him.  He said he would use the opportunity to launch his magazine and clothing label named Life Dream and Rural Swagger respectively.

'Some of the proceeds would be used by the fund-raising committee for the installation of Kgosi Malope Galeitsiwe and to also help encourage the putting up of the delayed statue of Kgosi Bathoen II,' he said.

Multiple performances from artists such as Gongmaster, VS, Banjo Mosele, DJ Sly and Kgotla are expected at the event.  Sponsors include Mascom, Security Systems and Somarelang Tikologo.
