Juju Boy, Zeus rock Francistown

The show was initially a Botswana Accountancy College (BAC) fun day celebration as multitudes of the accounts students gathered at the show to enjoy flavours from two of Botswana's hottest musical products.

Many fans of the rap stars had thronged the scene very early in the night but the rappers touched there just after 10pm when their fans looked to be losing their patience, despite endless house music spanned by the impeccable DJ Bunz of Francistown.  The hall went wild when DJ Bunz announced that Zeus and Juju Boy had finally arrived.

The noise that emanated from the crowd was simply deafening; so much that even the background music was drowned by the screams of the elated revellers.

Suddenly the Juju Boy, in his trademark Mohawk, showed up, and the BAC girls, dressed for the occasion, were uncontrollable at the sight of the rapper, as if possessed by demons.

Just as the Gaborone rapper began performing his trademark hit,  'Hurt me' everyone screamed at the top of their voices; even some revellers who had been chilling in their cars, were seen rushing to the stage when it finally dawned on them that Juju Boy was the man on stage.

Zeus, who also is undoubtedly a household name in this town, further intoxicated the revellers with his hit  'champaign music, as he made them eat from the palms of his hands. The revellers were heard singing along with the rapper who simply made them do what he likes with his irresistible tunes.

When the Thapama Hotel show was over the two rap stars proceeded to rock at the Lizard Lounge nightclub where the night crawlers had been eagerly awaiting their arrival.

At the nightclub it was also a night of fun as people celebrated the popular RB2 afternoon drive heavyweight, DJ Sly's birthday party. The event's entertainers included the likes of DJ Easy B and DJ Sly as well as the most sought after rappers, Zeus and Juju Boy.
