Can someone help us with accessing molapo crossing?

Which genius thought up this latest disaster? The road from Btv circle to the new traffic lights at Molapo Crossing does not have an entrance into Molapo Crossing when you are travelling towards the said lights.

Now, the one question on my mind, is why? Does the Roads department have it in for the owners/landlords/tenants of Molapo Crossing?  How exactly do they expect the huge volume of traffic travelling in that direction to access Molapo Crossing for that most important activity, their evening grocery shopping!

I use that one because it is a necessity not some frivolous retail therapy.  I beg them to give us our options. Oh, we could drive all the way to the Rainbow school roundabout and hit a u-turn (thus adding major minutes and more petrol).

Or wait!  I have a cunning plan!  Maybe, we should drive all the way to Grand Palm Hotel and hit a u-turn? Or rather we drive to the BKT (Phase 1) lights, turn into BKT, then hit a u-turn?

Which one appeals to you most?  To me, they are all ludicrous 'solutions' and I use the word solutions very lightly with tons of sarcasm.  What, is some civil servant sitting in their grey, non-descript office in Broadhurst chuckling to themselves?

Because they have firstly 'fixed' nothing, and secondly they are penalising us citizens, more than the landlords and tenants of Molapo Crossing. What was the thinking behind all of this? Or is that question relevant because it is obvious that anything but thinking actually went on?

I fail to understand why a simple break in the island cannot be constructed, to allow traffic to enter Molapo Crossing.  Maybe the Roads department never thought of it?

Dear Roads, all you have to do is construct a break in the island to allow traffic to enter Molapo. As it is, a number of us have already greatly reduced our shopping time at Molapo due to the inconvenience.

Those that make all the u-turns I ill-advisedly suggested above are probably causing serious danger to other drivers, but, of course, that is not the concern of the Roads department.

It is not their job, let the traffic cops deal with that.

But this is an unacceptable state of affairs and smacks of malice! If it is not malicious, are the people behind the project proud of themselves for a job well done? I certainly hope not! I hope that as I write, people are scurrying about trying to repair the biggest boo-boo yet perpetrated on the unsuspecting public.

Now that I am thinking about it, I remember seeing a debate in the papers about this but as I was happily able to shop away for my steaks, pap, strawberry yoghurt and yes, Oros, I turned a blind eye. Now I see why there was such a fight! We are behind the Molapo Crossing landlord all the way. I mean, I could not even go to Dros Wine and Cellar to watch the World Cup! This is disasterous!! Somebody, please HELP!!
