Selapa completes TASC move

TASC chairman, Jacky Meshark confirmed the signing to Mmegi Sport and said the player has already featured in pre-season training. 'We have signed Selapa on a two-year contract. He is a good goalkeeper and we hope he will prove his worth,' he said.

Selapa promised to make his stay at TASC successful. 'I have joined TASC and I have already featured in some of the pre-season games. I aim to work hard as they already have two goalkeepers,' he said. Selapa will compete with Biemba Senoya for the number one jersey at TASC. In other signings, TASC has brought in Cameroonian midfielder, Guy Landry Tchapet from Police XI, defender Michael Maoriso and midfielder, Victor Watlala, both from ECCO. 'These are the players we have signed at the moment.

We are using them in our pre-season tournaments. The problem we have realised is that they lack fitness but we are working on this,' Meshark explained. He added that they are still negotiating with potential signings.

He stated that TASC will host another pre-season tournament at Francistown Stadium following last weekend's event that included Notwane, TAFIC, ECCO City Greens and TASC.

TAFIC, Nico United and Great North Tigers will join the hosts, TASC for the weekend tournament. TASC open their be MOBILE Premier League campaign with a date against Miscellaneous at the Francistown Stadium on August 21.
