The event, which will focus on relationship and marriage, themed, ‘Get Your Love Life Back’, is scheduled for October 14, 2017, at Travel Lodge in Block 3.

Sealetsa-Ubah, explained that with the high divorce rate and many family disputes, she found the need, to come up with a platform that can reach out to the masses, and hopefully empower couples and families in conflict management. She said that sometimes people’s relationships soured because of character issues, which with better understanding of oneself and other family members or spouses, would not even be an issue.

“We tend to invest more in material things, but we don’t invest in our emotions,” she said.

She said it is important for one to introspect, and work on improving their own persona, explaining that sometimes relationships collapsed because, either one or both partners are struggling with past experiences that they have not properly dealt with or healed from.

Sealetsa-Ubah has a slot on RB 2 called My Family My Strength, and she is  also one of the motivational speakers featured on Masa-a-Sele’s Bakgothatsi ba Mosong on RB.

She said with the high rate of divorce cases, and family in-fights, there is a need for the society at large to be equipped with knowledge on how to address issues and encourage harmonious resolutions to disagreements between families and couples.

Sealetsa-Ubah explained that relationships associated with misunderstandings or challenges can interfere with productivity and day-to-day functioning hence the need to empower the society on how to deal with relationship challenges. She said while family disputes affect people in different ways, stress associated with marital problems or family disputes can affect an individual negatively, and often gives affected persons a feeling of hopelessness, which usually leads to someone not being able to function normally either socially, professionally or both.

The event will feature presentations from a variety of speakers on a variety of topics. The speakers on the day include Sealetsa-Ubah, Dr Mothusi Kabelo, Apostle Donald K Motsumi and Norah MC Aslin.

Sealetsa-Ubah said she intends to host the event in different parts of the country, in an effort to reach as many people as possible.

Funds permitting, Sealetsa-Ubah said she has intentions to turn the event into a radio and television talk show, so that she can reach as many people as possible.
