There were different wine collections and champagne such as Alvis Drift, Thembu, Vusani, Royal Reserve and Phumla, which were up for tasting with some art work exhibited in the picnic area.

The event kick started in the morning with visitors coming in slowly but with time they turned into a sizable crowd that was not bad for a wine tasting related event. The visitors were welcomed with a glass of wine.

The first points into the venue were the wine tasting stations, which had five centers. Individuals, couples and groups took turns to taste the different collections.

The wines varied in terms of texture, smell and temperature.

While tasting the hostesses would explain the various brand of wine and how they can be served on various occasions. Upon the completion of tasting some went for a second round, while some purchased their favorite bottles.

While others were at the tasting stations, some visitors were hanging at the picnic set up area which was set in the middle of Thapong Visual Arts Center under a marquee.

To add to the colour and good vibes, different crafts such as accessories and clothes were exhibited by Art and Craft houses such as House of Xita, Grounded accessories, Seatbelts and Open seatbelts. But the arts section was not given much justice, as there were few artists.
