A few months ago Amantle collaborated with Juju Boy on Follo, which had a steamy video showing the two kissing and hanging together a lot more on top of getting performance bookings.
This led to numerous rumours that the two are dating, and also alleging that Amantle snatched Juju Boy from another woman. The rumours escalated when the Black Mampatile singer started gaining weight.
“Yes me and Juju Boy are dating and we have been seeing each other for a while now. We obviously do not want our relationship to be out there in the public that’s why we kept it secret.
I am not pregnant and I am not planning on being pregnant anytime soon. I have only gained weight because I am happy,” the Moratiwa hit maker was quick to explain.
She vividly stated that she would not allow any bad publicity to break her spirits, as she is focused on working hard on her newly released single, Lagos.
Lagos, a follow up of Follo was released early this week on her social media accounts and also released a lyrical video, which had over 30,000 views in just one day.
As a follow up of Follo, Lagos continues to carry that Naija Afro pop influence.
Lagos carries an up beat sing along and dance sound, which is currently trending within the Naija Afro pop sound and rhythm. “I haven’t shifted to composing Naija Afro pop music, I am being versatile with my musical career touching on the different musical aspects that I am capable of doing. I can’t just focus on being that Amantle who composes slow soulful jams,” Amantle said.
“I want to penetrate into the Nigerian market no wonder I am experimenting with this type of sound. The Nigerian market is huge just imagine what will happen to my career when they accept my music that side.” Within a few days after releasing the song people freely shared different reviews on social media.
