The event that has become a household name attracts multitudes of revelers here and from the surrounding areas. It will be held at 4U2/ Nkau’s farm that is located along Morupule Coal Mine on September 30 from 10am till late.

According to the show organiser Bokang Molosiwa of Grove Souls, the event will be bigger, better and this time around the line up will feature Botswana‘s finest ATI who is currently trending due to his new hit Khiring Khorong.

“ATI will be the highlight of the event as we know that he is currently one of the hottest artists and currently topping the local music charts. His appearance will definitely pull the crowd and moreover our line up is also fully packed with other hottest artists in the country,” he said.

The line-up features 100% local artists and according to Molosiwa this is a deliberate decision as the day should be for Batswana only and that include celebrating their very own artists, additionally empowering upcoming artists.

The line up will also include Kast AKA Mr Tlax, DarkBoy Masey, Latimmy and other local artists.

It will start in the morning where lunch will be provided for free. Unlike in the past, according to Molosiwa, they would provide varieties of meat instead of beef only.

 “The lunch will be provided exactly from one o’clock in the afternoon until 1600 to make sure that people do not accuse us for failing to provide them with lunch therefore patrons should take note of those times,” Molosiwa said.

He said taking into account the issue of Gaborone International Music Festival they are going to tighten the security.

Molosiwa has also assured that they have never encountered any problems related to security with the two previous seasons, as their partnership with the police is of high standard.

Molosiwa guaranteed that the festivity will be a night to remember and it has already started to gain momentum since they held several activations around Palapye as well as selling the merchandise to prelude the vibe.

“This will be a night to remember. BOTS 50 plus 1 will be in Palapye, come lets celebrate our birthday in style,“ Molosiwa said.
