At BFA, Mfolo replaced Ookeditse Malesu whose short tenure ended last month. “The BFA NEC will have to sit down and find someone to fill that gap because his appointment at the BFA secretariat automatically means he steps down in the sub committee. He cannot hold the two positions,” an observer told Mmegi Sport this week. Yesterday, BFA spokesperson Tumo Mpatane confirmed that the association would make an appointment soon for the position of the chairperson of the FIB. “Yes the association will appoint someone in due course,” Mpatane said.

The body has already carried out its first mandate this season as Club Licensing was effected locally. FIB recently announced that only five Premier League sides, Township Rollers, Orapa United, Jwaneng Galaxy, Security Systems and Police satisfied all the requirements needed and attained 100 points. They have been awarded outright licences. The rest of the clubs were given provisional licences and required to meet all the requirements by October 1. Other remaining committee members are Phuthego Setete, Neoyame Katisenge, Nelson Modilenyane, Kabelo Seboko, Stephen Maleke and Chris Moshawa.
