Coke final set for May 15

A spokesman for the organisers, Phakamile Kraai told Mmegi Sport yesterday that the venue of the epic clash has not been decided.

The match was initially scheduled for April 24 but was postponed indefinitely. Kraai said they are looking at two venues, the UB Stadium and the Molepolole Sports Complex.

However, the UB Stadium might be closed by the end of this week to preserve it for World Cup teams interested in playing practice matches on it.

This would leave the Molepolole Sports Complex as the only available venue although at 8,000 capacity, it might prove too small for the big clash.

Kraai, however, did not rule out the possibility of using the new Lobatse Stadium if it is ready at the time of the match.  A clash between Rollers and Chiefs usually attracts large crowds and the UB and Molepolole stadiums might be too small for the Coke Cup final.
