Time and Space show is an example of art exhibition that has professional standard. While there are 10 artists exhibiting their works, one of them, Gopal, has interesting paintings that show human emotions and their spiritual connection with the surroundings. Being a man who has researched on spiritual attributes and new thoughts, Gopal’s paintings at Thapong draw attention because of their appealing and peaceful presentation.

Among the paintings there is a painting called Budha and silva and it unites the viewer with the spiritual world of Hinduism. From a distance it appears like an illusion but once concentration and focus is put on it, it presents a better understanding especially for someone who is knowledgeable about Hinduism. One of his pinky and bright series of paintings called yogic vision presents an aspect of Hindu Thought called Yoga.

Most Hindu texts discuss yoga as a practice to control the senses and ultimately, the mind. One of his paintings shows a human brain during meditation and various colours represent the calm thoughts. His stroke shows emotion of various human forms and his spiritual connection with Africa. He managed to capture the Hinduism Yogic spiritual practices in an impressive way without being aggressive.

Jayaraman’s painting also uses Hinduism to pursue a common ground in spiritual understanding. The artworks, like cosmic flowers, show that the physical body is related to psychological adaptations. Gopal used vibrant strokes in order to show different thoughts and they keep changing with every situation.
