“I am definitely ready and preparing to face Lu Cipher, he is a great rapper but I am sure I will win and bring another body bag,” Blain said.  With his opponent coming from a rap-oriented background in Florida, US and having participated in battles such as Chamber Battles, Enter the Dungeon and No Coast, Blain is positive that he will fight the battle and win it since he has not lost to any international rapper in all his career.

“I want to prove that we have a strong Hip Hop culture and rap abilities that are of an international stage.

Apart from that it feels really great to be participating on this platform.  I have always wanted my rap career to take me places and get recognition.”

The rapper stated that he is currently doing research and some brainstorming for the upcoming battle.

The rapper was in Manchester recently where he battled in Revival 9ine’s Don’t Flop Battle where he faced Joker. Starr and won.

With these international rap battles and wins, Blain has grown to be the country’s Hip Hop ambassador. “For one to make it and break into the international rap battle scene you have to deliver quality content during performances.

I also have a good management team that has helped my brand grow.  I will continue to represent Botswana and raise its flag high.”

Looking at his opponent he weighs in with 34 battles and an average of 14,196 views from the different battles he has competed in.

Meanwhile, on Saturday there will be the War Zone Rap Battle that will have Botswana’s own, Quant and L The Street Poet, locking horns.
