Avani Unveils New Wedding Packages

The expo saw the hotel that is currently undergoing renovation announce their newly launched three wedding packages that include an attractive buffet menu, with the option of the customer designing their own.

Their new packages also include free photoshoot location, free vows ceremony venue, free welcome drinks, free table linen and chaircovers, honeymoon suite that include bed and breakfast, as well as up to 40% discount on guest accommodation.

According to the facilities manager, Cecilia Rammuso, their new packages include gold, platinum and silver categories to cater for varying tastes and wishes of the client, adding that their venue can carry 500 guests at the garden terrace, and that their conference facility can accommodate 300 guests for the wedding, adding that they also provide a bridal shower to those who have booked for their wedding with them.

The inaugural wedding expo  was also graced by photography, boutique, bridal shops, and the highlight was the fashion parade as models showcased the various bridal gowns. At the end of the expo, four lucky attendants won themselves luxury accommodation to various destinations, courtesy of Avani.

Since it took over from Sun International two years ago Avani has been busy turning around the look and feel of the place, with a makeover of the reception area that today spots a refreshing and stylish look. 

The rooms have also undergone tremendous makeover to give them a more exquisite feel while the sitting area from the reception up to the Mahogany’s restaurant has also been upgraded to give it top notch relaxation feel that Avani Hotels are known for all over  the world.

Recently Avani also relaunched the elite restaurant Mahogany’s, as the new chef from Cape Town, Jerome Peters announced the newest dishes for the season. The new chef has also introduced new menu at the Savuti Grill, and is this week set to launch what could be their signature food and  beverages offering with the opening of the pantry, which is expected to thrill patrons with its rare variety of pantries such as fresh from the oven bread, a wide variety of bread experiences,  pizzas, cakes, beverages, unique and classy on the go food and beverages. Meanwhile, Avani will be promoting Botswana businesses through an expo known as Botswana Day towards the end of this month, which will also see the hotel celebrate Independence Day with cultural food.

Executive chef, Peters is putting emphasis on the menu  with a cultural touch and says the Sunday before last saw traditional dishes draw quite an amazing turnup,  an experience he says they will be building on. The hotel is being officially launched as Avani on October 7, 2017.
