Heavy line up to shutdown GIMC

The line up comprises of artists whose music has been currently trending on traditional and online media. It has the likes of Vee Mampeezy, Veezo, Team Distant, Cassper Nyovest, OkmalumKoolKat, Riky Rick and Prince Kaybee.
This will be one of the first festivals this year in the country to have heavy weight artists sharing the stage. It has also been dubbed as the biggest festival in the country making it to the top 10 events in the continent.
Artists such as Vee Mampeezy have expressed their excitement towards the show through social media.
“I will be there playing the Champion album, its a big album,” said Vee Mampeezy in an online video. This will be the first time that he performs tracks from his upcoming 15th studio album Champion that is yet to be released.
“Make sure you get your tickets. Will be coming out there on the 2nd of September. I see my hommie Vee will be there. Shout out to the promoters I can’t wait to say Pula a ene,” said Cassper Nyovest who also shared his excitement through an online video.
With four years of existence, the event has grown to be a favourite amongst many urbanites who have attended it in numbers.
Last year the event had another heavy line up of artists such as Donald, Black Coffee, DJ Fresh and Faded Gang.
The festival, which is a week long event, has been in full swing with a number of events such as poetry, theatre, jazz, choral music and picnic with different local and international acts performing.
The event is scheduled to start at 1pm till late.
