Rollers claim Mogorosi�s Facebook account hacked

The duo’s bitter fallout spilled out on the pitch on Sunday afternoon as the match between the two sides played at the UB Stadium saw six cautions issued with five going Sharps’ way.
The physical contest saw Rollers’ top goal scorer, Joel Mogorosi stretched off as early as the 11th minute. The 33-year-old has fractured his right leg and sustained minor injuries on the left foot. Mogorosi, before Sunday’s match, had scored four goals in as many games, but now faces a lengthy time of between two and three months on the sidelines. The former Zebras skipper was seen in tears after the game, later on the day he took his frustration to social media with a strong worded post on Facebook targeting the match officials, Sharps players and technical team. He accused Sharps coach, Keitumetse ‘Pio’ Paul of instructing his players to inflict injuries on the Rollers team. He further accused the referee of failing to take disciplinary measures after he was injured. “To the player I can even shoot u (you) and (when) u (you) I wont mind go kalediwa cuz (facing capital punishment because) I have killed you my man,” Mogorosi’s Facebook post reads.
However, Rollers’ spokesperson Bafana Pheto said Mogorosi’s Facebook account was hacked on Sunday evening and the club suspects foul play in the saga. “We have gathered that his account was hacked. All these things were planned, to hurt a player and write those things with his account. Joel is a responsible family man, he cannot write those things,” Pheto told Mmegi Sport yesterday. Mogorosi was given a red card after the game for insulting the match officials.
His coach, Nikola Kavazovic blasted his day’s opponents for having a small team mentality and called on the Botswana Football Association (BFA) to take action. “I know I am going to be financially fined, but I am calling the BFA to protect players, someone’s personal interest is not more important that the young man’s health. Joel would be out for two months, I’m so angry I cannot talk about football.”
“Champions approach every single opponent in the same way, and that’s why my boys are champions and why they will remain champions by the end of the season. Small teams like this one which name I don’t know and I don’t care will relegate from league because I hope BFA would react, if someone watched this game they should be fined like it is supposed to be, the same way I am going to be fined for everything I said,” a visibly livid Kavazovic said.
Pheto said the team is yet to charge Kavazovic as they await the match report. “There is a conduct on how coaches should behave. We will wait for the report from the technical team and the team manager,” he said.
Both Kavazovic and Mogorosi are likely to face charges from the Botswana Premier League (BPL) disciplinary committee for the utterances. BPL chief executive officer, Thabo Ntshinogang said they are waiting for the report from the match officials. “We are aware of what happened on the day. We are going to look at the rules and regulations as of now I cannot say much on the issue. But we have the post match interview that is the only evidence we have. We have a decision after we get the match report,” Ntshinogang said.
Meanwhile Sharps chairman, Molefhi Molefe could not comment on the matter as he said he was not in a position to respond to Mmegi Sport enquiries since he has been away from football matters due to personal matters.
