The event is scheduled to take place on November 3 at the BotswanaCraft. This will be Mpho’s debut Mascom Live Sessions performance while Zahara is no stranger to the event.

He stated that his performance is mainly based and influenced by his latest album African sunset, which features the likes of Tshepo Tshola. “I will be performing with a nine piece band. It will be a classic performance, something that I have not done yet in musical career.” Of recent Mpho has been getting performance bookings from local events with the recent one being the Gaborone International Music Culture Week.

Meanwhile Zahara will be perfoming in the country for the first time this year and she is expected to perform tracks from her latest album Mgodi that went platinum within 24 hours of release. Her Botswana fans are itching to see her perform songs from the album, which has not been on many local radio stations.

This will be one of the last Mascom Live Sessions event for this year. Over the year a number of local and international artists such as ATI, Oliver Mtukudzi, Franco, Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse and Lizibo have graced the BotswanaCraft stage.
